Don't worry about it, a few of my ex's (at least two) have that same vein and we had sex frequently, nothing go wrong, but even though I'm a RN, I'd still get it checked by a MD, if you experience any inconvenience during sex.

Do you mean it looks about 1cm surrounded by diameter? This is large but if it is the main dorsal vein it is not exceptional for a larger penis,. No two individuals have _exactly_ the same distribution of the smaller veins surrounded by the human body, so if it looks different from textbooks, or other guys, that is perfectly OK. If you own been circumcised as an infant, that will also have altered the pattern of the subsurface skin vein. Sometimes when they rejoin to bridge the gap they can do a full circle like you describe. If the vein is "hard" or looks swollen, this is sometimes due to a blockage, and for a big vessel approaching this it's worth checking out with a doctor. As for the condom question, when you are erect the pressure of blood in this artery will not allow it to be closed by the "rubber band". You need have no fears on this point.
