might be an infected pelt follicle or an abscess. if your not going to go to the doctor for it at least put some warm, moist boil on it...like a hot rag....a few times a day for 15 minutes respectively time...you could get a ziplock bag and fill it full of really thaw out water and lay it on top of the wet handkerchief to keep the rag warm. and rinse out your hands anytime you touch it...if it's infection you could spread it.
